What are the key features of Sidekick's Easy Access Savings product?

Competitive interest rate
When you open a Sidekick Easy Access savings account, you’ll earn an underlying variable rate from one of our trusted partner bank plus a 0.55% Savings Bonus on your first £35,000 for the first 12 months.

For our product with OakNorth Bank, you will earn 4.04% AER (variable) from OakNorth, and then 0.55% on your first £35,000 for the first 12 months from Sidekick, boosting your rate to 4.59% AER (variable).

If you also open a Sidekick investment account - Global Stocks, Global Bonds, Money Market Funds or Custom Index - you will earn an additional 0.25% on your first £35,000 for the first 12 months from Sidekick, boosting your rate to 4.84% AER (variable).

Interest on funds in your savings account will be paid daily, and your bonuses will be paid monthly into your Sidekick Wallet.

How do I earn the additional 0.55% and 0.25% bonuses on my savings?

All new Sidekick Easy Access savings clients earn a 0.55% Savings Bonus from Sidekick, bringing your rate for the OakNorth account up to 4.59% AER (variable), for 12 months on balances up to £35,000.

Any savings above £35,000 will still earn the underlying 4.04% AER (variable) bank rate, but will not qualify for the additional bonuses.

In order to earn an additional 0.25% Investor Bonus from Sidekick, you need to open and fund a Sidekick investment account: Global Stocks, Global Bonds, Money Market Funds or Custom Index portfolios. This will boost your savings interest rate to 4.84% AER (variable).
